J brought me a sweet gift this weekend, a dwarf puffer fish we’ve named Philip. He lives in a bowl on the desk next to where I work. What a nice buddy he is to have! Apparently the thing with these fish is that they’re very interested in watching what goes on around them, and sure enough he is pretty lively and friendly. He pops all around the bowl and watches me work, and when I peer down at him he swims up to the surface to look at me. I swear this creature can make eye contact. What a cool little dude!
